Inner-Directed Therapy Intensives

In-person, experiential trainings where participants deepen embodied therapeutic skills by facilitating non-ordinary state experiences under supervision, using an inner-directed approach.

The IDT Intensives support participants to deepen their embodied understanding of inner-directed therapeutic work and integrate it with specific medicines and modalities, in a supported, supervised environment. They are run in small groups to ensure a safe container and ideal learning environment. It is a natural next step into facilitating work with non-ordinary states.

Each intensive takes place over a few days. Participants work in dyads, applying an inner-directed therapeutic approach to prepare for, facilitate and integrate the non-ordinary state experience that forms the core of the intensive. Just as with our Foundations program, structured feedback is built into the process to deepen learning and growth.

Foundations of Inner-Directed Therapy is a pre-requisite for joining an IDT Intensive. In addition to this pre-requisite, participants go through a screening process to ensure they are appropriate candidates.

Structure

  • Small cohort, in-person, over a few days

  • 1 group preparation call before and 1 group integration call after the intensive

  • Dyad-based practice: participants alternate between facilitating and receiving

  • Feedback between dyad partners, group discussion and mentoring are built in throughout the program

  • Completion of Foundations of Inner-Directed Therapy required prior to enrolment

Choosing to work with non-ordinary states requires a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth and learning. As such, each intensive is an opportunity to deepen and broaden learning, and students may feel called to join multiple IDT Intensives over time.

IDT Intensive: Breathwork

Breathwork is commonly used for the experiential component in psychedelic trainings, in countries where psychedelic medicines cannot be legally accessed. We have noticed that these containers are of great value to those entering the psychedelic space, as well as for breathwork practitioners who are wanting to integrate inner-directed therapeutic skills to deepen their work.

Breathwork Intensives are delivered in partnership with Breath Medicine - a breathwork approach that has been designed to support safe, deep breathwork experiences and is perfect for these learning environments.

IDT Intensive: Psilocybin

For those wishing to enter the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy, there is no substitute for having a psychedelic experience, and supporting someone else to do so, under the guidance of experienced supervision. For many, the difficulty is in finding an appropriate experiential learning environment when access is limited in many countries around the world.

Our psilocybin intensives take place in European jurisdictions that have less rigid regulations around the use of psychedelic medicines, allowing for a deep, transformative learning experience for participants.
