An Orientation, Not Another Modality

Integrative Psychotherapy Training for Therapists & Healthcare Practitioners

“It is the client who knows what hurts, what directions to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried.”

Carl Rogers

Training that is truly experiential

At the core of inner-directed therapy is the belief that each person carries an innate capacity to heal, and that the therapist's role is to support the conditions in which that capacity can emerge. This belief sits at the heart of many of the most enduring therapeutic traditions and in contemplative practices that predate western psychology entirely.

Our training programs draw from across these traditions to offer a clear, jargon-free framework for working in inner-directed ways. Instead of learning a new modality, students learn and practice principles and techniques that integrate naturally with their existing therapeutic skills. This way of working can be integrated in traditional talk therapy, as well as psychedelic-assisted therapy and other expanded state work.

They are designed to develop embodied, intuitive therapeutic skills grounded in direct experience.

A strong theoretical foundation supports practical, hands-on and reflective learning. Students leave with confidence in their newly developed therapeutic skills, along with a clear awareness of areas for continued growth and development.
